Poem: “Who Am I?”(pen louder than bullet”

Who am I? (My Pen louder than bullet)

I am the voice they tried to hush—
In the noise of powder, blood, and clash,
But I still speak with pen and flame,
Khalid Azure Yakubu is my name.

A blogger’s ink, a truth-teller’s tone,
In Bawku’s dust, I stand alone.
Writer of minds and time,
Chronicling wounds that know no rhyme.

A tutor by day, a thinker by fire,
Injustice and lies spark my ire.
I teach the young to question hate,
And hope the old will re-create.

A Writer, Researcher and Analyst—sharp and bold,
I say the truth that must be told.
That this Bawku war is vain and vile,
Fanned by those who wear a smile.

Behind warm words and calls for calm,
Lies hypocrisy, a loaded arm.
They drink from peace and pour out war,
And never ask: What is this for?

So who am I? I ask again,
A voice in harm, a balm in pain.
Khalid Azure—truth is my sword,
And unity, my final word.

Thanks for following..
