Europa League: Ernest Nuamah hits BRACE as Lyon humble Steaua Bucuresti to reach quarter final

Ernest Nuamah scored twice to propel Olympique Lyon to an emphatic 4-0 win to cruise into the quarter final of the UEFA Europa League.

 

The Kids really stamped their authority on the Romanian champions with a 7-1 aggregate scoreline having won 1-3 in the first leg last week.

 

The 21-year-old shined like a diamond in the game having scored a brace and enjoyed full time action securing an impressive rating of 9.3 on Sofascore.

 

Georgian international Georges Mikautadze also got two goals in the game with an assist with earned him the man of the match accolade.

 

He has now netted six goals two assists in 30 appearances in all competitions and is hoping to get more as the season progresses.

Olympique Lyon will now face English giants Manchester United in the quarter final of the competition.

Ernest Nuamah three goals in his last two matches is expected to make Otto Addo’s squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar.
